Randy Moss

Vikings WR Randy Moss was fined $10,000 by the NFL for violating the league\'s uniform code by wearing a nonsanctioned hat on the sideline during Minnesota\'s 28-21 victory over Indianapolis on 08-24-2001. Moss, a Nike endorser, was fined $5,000 earlier in the 2001 season for crossing out a Reebok logo during one game and wearing an unlicensed "Three-Deep" (standing for Moss, Cris Carter and Jake Reed) hat during another game. "They tell him not to wear a hat, but that is part of his game," said Daunte DiTrapano, his agent. "I guess he could just not wear hats but what is the big deal about wearing a hat on the sideline?"
