The Skins RB wore an unauthorized tinted eye shield, unauthorized burgundy and striped socks, and unauthorized black shoes for the second time in the 2005 season. This game was versus the Philadelphia Eagles. Portis was fined $20,000 for the infraction and told by NFL that he would be “disqualified” from the next playoff game versus the Buccaneers if he he had any further uniform violations.
