Minnesota Vikings DT John Randle was fined $10,000 by the NFL for excessive eye black during a 11-08-1998 game against the New Orleans Saints. Excessive eye black is a violation of the NFL\'s Uniform and Equipment Code. This was the second time Randle was fined for violating the league\'s uniform conformity code regarding eye black during the 1998 season. He was fined $5,000 for a similar offense after the Vikings\' 37-24 victory against Green Bay on 10-05-1998.
