Ty Warren

New England Patriots DE Ty Warren was fined $7,500 by the NFL for not buckling his chinstrap during a 09-23-2007 against the Buffalo Bills. According to a league spokesman, the NFL made chinstrap buckling a point of emphasis prior to the start of the 2007 season as a result of their concussion studies. Players are asked by on-field officials to buckle up if spotted without all chinstraps secured. If the player continues to disregard the rule, he is fined, as was the case with Warren.
