DeAngelo Hall

Atlanta Falcons CB DeAngelo Hall was fined $10,000 for a tribute to Michael Vick during a 12-10-2007 game against the New Orleans Saints. Hall displayed a poster of Michael Vick as he ran onto the field for pregame introductions. He later taped the poster to the back of the Falcons' bench, but it was subsequently removed by a member of the club's public relations department. Hall also wore the message "MV-7," Vick's initials and uniform number, on his eye-black patches for the game. This demonstration came several hours after Vick was sentenced to 23 months in prison for his role in an illegal dogfighting ring that was centered on property he owned in Virginia.
